Many startups are based on the concept of part-time workers: an ordinary person with a license can taxi in the evenings just as well as a professional cab driver, and he can be paid less. The Qeepl and several of its global counterparts extend the concept to business. A company could also use the extra money from “moonlighting”.
For the end client Qeepl is a beautiful mobile application for choosing a luggage storage room at the premises of the service partners. A click, payment, instant confirmation – and you can go to a nearby hotel or cafe, they are already waiting for you. For business it is a little extra work for the staff to take the luggage and then give it back. In return – actually extra revenue and two visits from the person, he can also buy himself a coffee. It is not necessary to equip a special room in this case – enough space under the table at the receptionist, a lot of customers Qeepl still will not lead.
The startup has been active in the market for a couple of years. He writes on his website about the total payment to partners of 6 million rubles for all that time, and Qeepl’s own revenues are measured by similar numbers. But so far the founders have not given up hope.
