The year 2022 continues to set new records for mass layoffs at major technology companies, and November saw a new high of 121 mass layoffs (the previous record was set in June with 110).
November’s leaders include Russia-banned Meta (11,000 fired employees) and Amazon (10,000), and the total number of layoffs for 2022 has already exceeded 146,000
