Preparations

We start with the most important points.

Current meta

The most important thing is to hit the meta. I bet many of you heard, how in summer when there was meta on casino, all sorts of schoolboys started with $0 in their pockets sol-casino and collected on 10-20-30k bucks.

Quite recently there was a big hype on ABC collection with 0% royalty. So, shrewd guys, again, with almost no investment began to launch a secondary collection with similar art and 0% royalty. For some floor came to as much as 15 SOL, sales volumes were also quite high.

Another example of how to get into a meta and collect several tens of thousands of dollars in a couple of days without investing anything in it. So, the first thing that matters is the meta.

Art

There are a lot of opinions about what the pictures should be. But obviously there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. The main thing is that it shouldn’t be a load of crap. Although even on this meta was… Arts in general can be the same, but if the collection has a cool utility and strong hype, then it’s regardless of the arts will give X’s.

In general, keep an eye on the meta or do what you like. Where to find a designer? Upwork, Fiverr and other freelance exchanges. There are a lot of cool guys who for cheap to draw a whole collection. They ask really little by the standards of crypto, so the art should not be a problem for sure.

Design for social networks

Again, if the designer is part of the team, you can do it all as you move forward. But in a good way, you should already at the start have a content plan for Twitter, various covers for posts, banners, etc. You decide on the style, with art, order the entire design from a designer and then do not bother with this. At art + in general the entire design allocate a little money. 100-200 USD maximum.

Preparing accounts in social networks

Looking for warmed up Twitter and Discord accounts. We buy, set all sorts of passwords and protections on all accounts, because often hacked the same dis or Twitter. Take it seriously.

The collection can shoot, an incredible asset rises in social networks, you already set yourself up to buy a yacht and a new house, and then bam…

The day before the mint, they hack you and tear it down, or make a substitution link to the mint, etc. Unpleasant, huh?

Should I make a website?

It already depends on the collection. You can make a landing page and put it on a domain on your own, on a constructor, practically for free.

If the budget allows, then pay 100-200 dollars, you will make a beautiful landing. The site comes in addition to everything. If there is not enough budget for promotion, of course, you should not get involved and make an additional site.

The site is the very last thing we invest in on development. As a last resort, again, you can always spend half a day and make something more or less normal on Tilda.

Fake followers

At the start, in any case, it is worth podkratit itself at least 200-500 subscribers in the social network. Otherwise, at the beginning, it will be very difficult for people to subscribe to you in Twitter, especially if you do not order subscriptions and advertising from influencers at the start.

You can look for to raise reactions on ME. Rates around 100 likes = $25-35.

Marketing and promotion

You can gradually open up social networks and attract an audience. This can be done in different ways. One of the possible way is to start a tweet, run it for a week or two, investing in advertising at the influencers, collaborating with other projects on Twitter, etc.

And only after 2 weeks, when there is a warmed-up audience in twitter that wants Whitelists open the discord. You can vice versa, open discord immediately along with twitter. In general, there are many ways. Each is equally effective when approached intelligently.

Influencers

Influencers, which everyone has always looked at all their lives, begin to fade into the background. There are a lot of twisted tweets, which for some reason are closely followed and believe that if Influencer is signed up to a project, it means that the project is gem. At least it used to be that way.

Now it’s different. The cost of reposting the most top influencers is only 4 SOL. And even less, you can easily bargain.

They follow and repost anything at all. And they’re also very willing to haggle, so always knock down the price. It’s not hard for them to push two buttons and get something for it.

In general, if the budget allows, you can stuff yourself with the most popular influencers, order reposting, and it’s a cool start to the collection. Already on this further you can take out. Here, as luck would have it. If the community notices your project and people start to shill it everywhere, in different DAO, channels, etc, then cool. And for us to get noticed, these basic influencers and reposts are enough.

Collab managers

Next, we definitely need to hire 2-4 collab managers on the team. The types who will sit around all day and negotiate for WL draws, mutual advertising of collections, FCFS, etc. with all sorts of DAOs, other projects, influencers, etc.

Optimal rate for collab manager is 3-5% of profits. Fixed price.

I advise not make any prepaids, because the motivation to work with the person simply will not. As soon as the collection begins to hype, you will be littered with personal messages in discord, Twitter, and everywhere else you can. Will be offered, including candidates for collab managers. 99% are crap. Good collabs will not sit around and spam all sorts of projects.

Once we run the discord, do not forget to regularly throw in there announcements. This is very important, it warms up the interest of the audience to the project.

Announcements

What you will announce depends on roadmap, on the idea of the project and many other factors. For example, to understand in general, what is worth writing and what is not worth it, go to the discord of successful projects, which gave a lot of X’s and watch their social networks before the sold-out.

After 5-8 projects (similar in meaning to yours) you have already formed a rough picture of the head, how to properly do the warm-up, what to write in the announcement, etc.

Roadmap

Here everything is easy. Look at current trends, check roadmaps of recent successful projects, update them a bit, add your own tips and that’s it … Of course there should be some creative features, but you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.

For example, there was a meta on staking in roadmap in the spring, every project ran a staking. Analyze what’s relevant now and based on all the info, do a roadmap.

Whitelists

Whitelists at the start, when the project is just beginning to develop, you can give out a lot of them. As soon as the hype began, do not give them all in a row. Although, then again, it all depends on your intentions.

Want to stupidly sold out the project – do FCFS mint with an overabundance of waitlists. If you want to get good floor after launch, make cool roadmap, give out whitelists very selectively, so as not to generate a bunch of flippers and not to get 50% of listings in the first hour. And warm up interest right after launch to reduce number of NFT listings.

Moderators

Do not forget to put 1-2 people on the Discord + put good moderators in the chat. By the way, the chat should always be active, without an active chat, run and give X’s very difficult.

When to launch mint?

When everything is ready, all the processes are set, it remains only to wait for the growth of the audience. Advertising of the project must go all the time, every day without any stops. Then gradually, gradually, will rise to the asset and when you feel that you gave out a lot of whitelists. Feel that the project’s audience is enough to buy off all the NFT many times, set a date for the mint.

Creating and listing a collection

Here we get to the technical part. How to put our nfts into the blockchain on Solana it is very easy and simple.

In case you are not going to make your own mint site, you can choose lmnft as your launchpad. It’s super easy there… you upload your images to the site, which will automatically generate a collection, and that’s it.

It’s also very easy to manage your whitelists at LMNFT + you can cut supply, change mint price, date, and so on in a couple of seconds. Super handy, you can literally generate a collection in half an hour.

Therefore, all sorts of degengs often do not bother and mint through lmnft. To ship the site for all the convenience will have to 2.5% of the mint.

Metadata can be written manually to the pictures, and then quietly unload them to LMNFT.

We will also need to get the collection into the Magic Eden. I don’t think anyone will have any trouble here. You register on Magic Eden for creators, then click on “Create new collection”, fill in all the information and that’s it.

Moderation takes literally 30 minutes, then our collection appears in the Upcoming Drops tab. If you get some likes there (the price is about 30 bucks per 100 pieces), you can get a little extra audience for your project with this Drop calendar.

After a minute, go to the settings of the collection and drop in there hash list and then the collection automatically goes to the marketplace.

Marketing after sold out

When you prescribed the roadmap, you promised a lot of things that you would have to spend time and money on after the launch. 99% of new collections, even with the coolest roadmap, go quiet within 1-3 months.

Only one in a thousand collections becomes a bluechip, so the floor either grows or stays at an acceptable level. Logically, in the second case, the collection admins make good money from royalties.

But, once again, the chance that your collection’s haip will last more than a week is very small. Therefore, often admins particularly not steamed with the development of the project, almost do not spend money after the sold-out, etc..

So again, it all depends on your idea. Maybe even begin to meta for tools  and then without the creation and maintenance of any services, bots, etc. can not do.

Often encountered and rag pull that immediately after a mint drop the project and remove all the social networks. So do not recommend, of course.

Slow-rug, ie when the project scam within 5-10 days, throwing all sorts of promises and a bunch of empty ads, so that still earn a penny on royalties. Well, a week later, again divides all the social networks. I also do not recommend it.
