From 10 to 100 SOL: smart copy trading strategy

  • June 12, 2025

You can start with 10 SOL and try to scale it up to 100 SOL using only copy trading. Or you can start with a smaller deposit. The key is to maintain proper risk management and make sure you don’t use fewer than 50 entry points.

Initial Setup:

  • Deposit: 10 SOL
  • Entry size: 0.2 SOL
  • Number of entries: 50
  • Number of donor wallets to copy at the start: 5 to 10

Step-by-step Plan

1. Find donor wallets

Do it manually using Axiom and DexScreener. You can also use dashboards like this one on Dune.

2. Analyze wallets

The GMGN service is great for this.

3. Add donor wallets to the DBot copier

DBot is the most convenient option for this.

4. Be sure to add your own DBot wallet to Axiom

You’ll be able to monitor donor trades on charts in Axiom.

5. Allocate 5 entries to each donor during the first phase

If a donor burns through all 5 entries, do an analysis and, in 90% of cases, remove them.

How to Manage Donors?

Think of each donor wallet as an employee you’ve hired.

Organize them into 4 categories. It helps to keep this in a Google Sheet. Name the categories however you like — just make sure they reflect the purpose. For example:

  • On probation (under close watch)
  • In the team (passed probation, trading steadily)
  • Bad trader (failed probation)
  • Dream Team (top-tier wallets, usually generate 70%+ of the total profit)

The idea is to filter and move wallets through this funnel so you can load up your exposure on the 4th category as much as possible.

This is just the skeleton of donor management — you can develop and adapt the system further to suit your style. The main thing is that the wallets you already work with should always be monitored. You should always be able to see a positive trend in your research.

Why copy trading is good choice?

One of the best parts of copy trading is that it helps you catch runners and massive X-gains you would otherwise miss. When you’re trading solo, you often miss out because you went to eat, sleep—or just stepped away for a minute.

Everyone’s had that moment: “If I had been there, I 100% would have jumped in.”

Well, copy trading partially solves this. While you’re sleeping or doing something else, your donor wallets are still trading dramatically increasing your chances of catching that breakout.

Wishing everyone profits. Let’s work.
